Trade Details

Collingwood receive: Dan Houston, 58

Gold Coast receive: John Noble, 2025 1st Rd (PA), 2025 1ST Rd (COL), pick 39

Port Adelaide receive: Jack Lukosius, Joe Richards, Rory Atkins, picks 13, 29, 36, 50

Fantasy Impact

Dan Houston will provide extra flexibility to the Collingwood squad which suits the game style of senior coach Craig McRae.

Houston played almost exclusively across half-back for Port Adelaide in 2024, he averaged 23.0 disposals, 5.4 marks and 3.5 tackles from 22 games.

Houston was suspended in Round 23 against Adelaide and will miss the opening game for the Magpies in 2025 to complete that 5-game suspension.

Over his career Houston has been extremely durable having played 168 AFL games after being selected at pick 44 in the 2015 AFL Rookie Draft.

Expect Houston to be used across half-back in his primary role at Collingwood with the ability to move into an inside or outside midfield when required.
