Bailey Smith Joins Geelong

Western Bulldogs receive: Pick 17, Matt Kennedy

Fantasy Impact

Bailey Smith will add much needed quality midfield depth at Geelong, he has the versatility to move forward when required.

It is expected Geelong senior coach Chris Scott will use Smith predominantly as an inside mid, his power and speed at the contest is well suited to that role.

Smith ruptured his ACL in December last year and missed the 2024 season, he is expected to be available for the start of the 2025 season for the Cats.

Smith’s fantasy scoring output in 2025 should be reasonable to strong based on a majority role as an inside mid.
