Daniel Rioli joins his former coach at the Tigers Damien Hardwick on the Gold Coast.

He should be set for a half-back role at the Suns in 2025 which may include a healthy number of kick-ins.

Rioli averaged 23.3 disposals, 4.0 marks and 3.0 tackles from 23 games in 2024, he has been quite durable in recent years at the Tigers.

It is likely Rioli will be the main distributor for the Suns across half-back in 2025, his game should also be suited to humid conditions on the Gold Coast.

Expect a solid to reasonably strong scoring average from Rioli in a half-back role for the Suns in 2025.
