Fantasy Impact
Matthew Kennedy opted for a move to the Bulldogs for an opportunity to play as a pure inside mid.
There will be competition for midfield spots which incudes centre bounce usage, it is expected Marcus Bontempelli, Adam Treloar and Tom Liberatore will absorb most of that usage as they did last season.
The role adjustment of Ed Richards into the midfield in 2024 may also continue, the development of Ryley Sanders could also see him being used at centre bounces again in 2025.

The path of Kennedy playing as a pure midfielder for the Bulldogs across the 2025 season is currently hindered not only by depth but also senior coach Luke Beveridge likely making weekly adjustments to roles.
Kennedy will be a watch over pre-season to see if he can force his way into the midfield rotation at the Bulldogs.
