Jack Gunston and Sam Day were the only 2 selections in the pre-season draft, Gunston returns to the Hawks while Sam Day continues his AFL career at the Lions.

A total of 24 players were selected in the rookie draft, Brad Crouch has been listed at the Saints despite ongoing knee issues while Gold Coast claimed Max Knoble from Fremantle.
A host of Category B rookies were also listed at their new AFL clubs including Malakai Champion at West Coast.
