Tom Stewart Role

AFLRATINGS NEWS: Tom Stewart has provided an update on his role for the 2025 AFL season. 

Senior coach Chris Scott made an adjustment to Stewart’s starting position following the bye last season, he was used at 73.1% of team centre bounces between rounds 16-23. 

Stewart was injured in Round 24 and subbed out of the game early.

Speaking this week he stated that he is expected to play a similar role to last season with a bit of a midfield mix as well as moving behind the ball. 

Stewart averaged 21.5 disposals, 6.1 marks and 3.0 tackles from 23 games in 2024, he averaged 96.4pts (AF) between round 16-23.
