AFLRATINGS NEWS: Liam Duggan has provided an update on his role for the 2025 season.Â
New senior coach Andrew McQualter has made several role adjustments in his first season including Duggan’s role.Â

Speaking on Saturday following training Duggan stated he’ll start in a midfield role this year.
Elliot Yeo’s injury will delay his start to the 2025 season but Duggan confirmed the planned midfield role for himself was available prior to Yeo going down in January.Â

Duggan added that the midfield will look a bit different compared to previous with a role available that suits his game.Â
He was used at 20.6% of team centre bounces in games he played last season.Â
Duggan averaged 21.5 disposals, 6.6 marks and 2.7 tackles from 21 games in 2024.
