Injury Update: Ash Johnson

AFLRATINGS NEWS: Ash Johnson was assessed for a left leg concern in the VFL on Friday.

He came from the ground with the assistance of staff and did not return.

Johnson will undergo surgery on a fractured fibula (via Xander McGuire). 

A timeline for a return is yet to be establish. 

“Ash sustained the injury during our Club’s VFL pre-season game yesterday afternoon.”

He is expected to undergo surgery next week and will unfortunately spend an extended period of time on the sidelines as he recovers.” Collingwood EGM Football Charlie Gardiner.

Collingwood will likely provide updates during his recovery period.
