Injury Update: Nic Martin

AFLRATINGS NEWS: Nic Martin was assessed for a knee concern on Saturday night. 

He came from the ground in Q1 and was subbed out of the game.

Martin has a confirmed ruptured ACL (via Tom Morris).

“He’s been a vital part of our midfield this season, and his absence will certainly be felt. Our players, coaches, staff, and all Bomber members and supporters will feel his loss.”

“He’s had a terrific year and has been critical to our ability to perform week in, week out.” Essendon GM of Football Daniel McPherson.

Essendon will likely provide updates during his rehabilitation period.
