Gabba, Brisbane – – The Lions secured a critical win at home defeating the Bulldogs by 10 points on Friday night.

Weather conditions were mostly clear despite pre-game interruptions due to lightning and heavy rain.

Will Ashcroft was outstanding for Brisbane as he recorded 26 disposals and kicked three goals including the last of the game on the final siren.

Brisbane move to 13-4 this season and are closing in on a top 2 spot at the end of the H&A season.

The Bulldogs lose another close game against a top 8 contender and currently sit 9th on the AFL ladder.
