AFLRATINGS NEWS: Carlton ruck Marc Pittonet has been been sidelined from pre-season training.
He suffered a knock to his throat at training on Friday.
Pittonet was diagnosed with a fractured larynx and spent two nights in hospital and is expected to make a full recovery (via Xander McGuire).

Recovery for non-surgical fractured larynx is estimated at 4-6 weeks, Pittonet may be in non-contact training when he returns in January.
Carlton will likely provide updates during his rehabilitation period.
Pittonet averaged 12.0 disposals, 1.7 marks and 3.4 tackles and 24.0 hit outs from 7 games in 2025.
