Heeney will likely undergo further assessment to determine if there is an injury or not.
Senior coach Dean Cox said following the game if Heeney is right to play then he’ll be on a plane to Melbourne this week.Â
Heeney has been cleared of a serious hamstring injury and may be unlikely to play in Round 2, he will be considered test (via Sam Edmund on Monday).Â
Sydney plays Hawthorn on Thursday night March 19 at the MCG.Â
