7 Sep – 2018 Free Agency
Kane Cornes expressed his concern on Free Agency on his regular Friday spot on SEN
“The AFL Players Association, the players fought hard for free agency and they will argue after serving eight years at a club, that you’ve had no choice of being drafted to, you should have some freedom of where you want to play.
“It’s another example of the AFL Players Association having far too much power.”

All this talk with Free Agency not working with bottom teams losing to top teams…. that’s not the point of FA. Free Agency is to allow a player to move in a free market without restriction. It’s purpose isn’t to even up the competition. That’s a completely different argument.
