Billy Gowers sustained a fractured wrist in a car accident on Thursday, he won’t be ready for full training when the Bulldogs return for pre-season.
Billy is expected to be on the sidelines for a short period of time while he recovers from his injury, and his preparation for the 2019 season will not be impacted significantly – Bulldogs Media.
Gowers played in 20 games at the Bulldogs in 2018, he was originally selected at Pick 5 in the 2014 Rookie Draft by Carlton. Gowers was delisted by the Blues at the end of 2016, he was selected by the Bulldogs at Pick 9 in the 2017 Rookie Draft.
Gowers was the leading Goal kicker at the Bulldogs in 2018 finishing with 26 Goals, he kicked 2 Goals or more in 7 games.
