AFL FANTASY ANALYSIS

Jake Lloyd further enhanced his fantasy game last season becoming a premium Defender, it was the first time he averaged 100pts or more in a season (Finals Incl.).

Lloyd scored 100pts or more in 47.8% of games & 120pts or more from 21.7% of games in 2018, this was a reasonable increase compared to 2017.

It was a moderate start to the 2018 season for Lloyd as he averaged 88.6pts from his opening 7 games, for the remainder of the H&A season he averaged 107.7pts including 120.0pts from his last 3 games.

The loss of Dan Hannebery to the Saints might increase the Midfield usage for Callum Mills who is returning from a long term injury, it is reasonable to assume that Lloyd will likely maintain his high scoring role in 2019 rather than be impacted too heavily from the return of Mills.

Sydney were ranked 15th in the 2018 H&A season conceding an average of 55.4 Inside 50s per game, if the deep defending game plan is maintained next season then Lloyd will continue to benefit as a high scoring Defender.
