NEWS
The AFL Draft is complete and fantasy coaches have a near full list of players to start planning with, don’t forget there will be additional players added via the Pre-Season Supplemental Selection Period, December 1-March 15.
Here some club comments for players selected on Friday (AFL Draft, Day 2)
Ian Hill (Pick 24 GWS Giants)
“Ian is an enormously talented small forward who plays with real speed .. Creative with the ball and a threat near goal or up high” GWS National Recruiting Manager, Adrian Caruso.
Rhylee West (Pick 26 Western Bulldogs)
“Rhylee’s ability to find the footy and his tackling and pressure around the contest are some of his greatest strengths.. While he is elite with his stoppage work, he is also creative when he has the footy and has the vision to think beyond the contest” Bulldogs’ National Recruiting Manager, Nick Austin.
Connor McFadyen (Pick 42 Brisbane)
“Big, strong-bodied midfielder who can play forward. Really strong and clean.. His season finished early with a foot injury so he will have a delayed start to the pre-season” Recruiting Manager, Steve Conole.

ROOKIE DRAFT
There were a few players taken in the Rookie Draft that found a new home and could see some playing time in 2019, Hugh Goddard was taken at Pick 1.

AFL FANTASY ANALYSIS
Lachie Neale was traded to Brisbane from Fremantle in the 2018 Trade Period, after delivering consistent numbers at the Dockers he moves to the Lions where tagging has been an issue for Dayne Zorko and Dayne Beams departs.
Neale scored 100pts or more in 63.6% of games & 120pts or more from 9.1% of games in 2018, these were similar splits compared to 2017.

The new home for Neale may put off a few fantasy coaches based on an unknown situation, he has been an extremely consistent fantasy scorer but has not been a player that regularly hits ceiling games.
With Zorko likely to be the main target from opposition clubs Neale could put up similar numbers at Brisbane next season, he was No.2 behind Nat Fyfe and put up decent numbers with or without Fyfe.
Brisbane averaged 373.5 Disposals in the 2018 H&A season (Rank 11). they averaged 363.8 Disposals in the 2017 H&A season (Rank 16).
