Matthew Kreuzer underwent minor knee surgery last week, it is expected that he will return to game play situations late in the pre-season & be ready for Round 1.

Kreuzer played only 12 games last season & averaged 23.0 Hit Outs, he played 21 games in 2017 & averaged 31.7 Hit Outs.

AFL FANTASY TAKE
The news isn’t great for fantasy coaches that had Kreuzer in at R2 at this stage of the pre-season, other options are now on the table.

Given the career injury history for Kreuzer many will likely now jump ship despite Carlton being confident he will start the season at Round 1, he has played in 76.1% of games since the start of the 2015 H&A season.
Kreuzer averaged 79.3pts in 2018, well short of his 105.0pt average in 2017.
