Melbourne confirming today that Max Gawn was indeed hospitalised last week, he did not appear on the official Melbourne injury list ahead of Round 1.
“He had a pretty significant skin infection & spent a day in the Epworth Hospital last Tuesday.. But he trained fully last Wednesday, so his preparation probably wasn’t ideal, but I don’t think it really affected his performance” David Misson on Max Gawn.
