After a poor Round 1 outing Zach Merrett has been declared fit by Essendon coach John Worsfold, Merrett recorded only 16 Disposals against the Giants.
“(Zach) Merrett is fit, but he didn’t have anywhere near the impact he should have (in Round 1)” John Worsfold.
Jake Stringer should be good to go in Round 2, he injured his foot and suffered some minor bruising.
