Fantasy: Round 1 Bombers v Dockers CBA’s

Dylan Shiel recorded a team high 85.7% CBA’s in Round 1, Andrew McGrath continued his high midfield usage recording 66.7% of team CBA’s. Zach Merrett (33.3%) was used significantly less at CBA’s in Round 1 as was Devon Smith (9.5%).

Jake Stringer did not play in the 2020 Marsh Community Series, he spent most of the pre-season training as a forward.

“A mixture (forward & midfield), I’ve done a lot of (pre-season) work forward.. I’ll start to ramp up my midfield (training) leading into games.” Jake Stringer on his 2020 role in late January.

In Round 1 Stringer was matched up heavily against Nat Fyfe at CBA’s, his ability to match-up on key opposition midfield players could dilute the opportunities for Zach Merrett & Devon Smith in 2020.

Nat Fyfe was ranked No.1 at the Dockers in Round 1 recording 76.2% of team CBA’s, Darcy Tucker was used heavily in the midfield as he recorded 71.4% of CBA’S. Andrew Brayshaw was relatively quite but still managed to record a healthy 52.4% of team CBA’s.

Fremantle remained consistent at CBA’s from the second game of the Marsh Community Series into Round 1, Michael Walters split his midfield usage evenly recording 4 CBA’s in each half.
