Sydney small forward Ben Ronke will look to increase his training loads over the next two weeks, he suffered a hyperextension of his knee in Round 1.

The Swans are hopeful Ronke will be available for Round 2, that largely depends on the AFL restart date.

“We have unloaded Ben and he had an extended period of no running, but will run in the next two weeks we hope,”

“His availability will be determined by the restart timelines and just how quickly we are asked to get going.” Swans Head of Football Charlie Gardiner.

Ronke averaged 10.4 Disposals, 2.9 Marks, 2.1 Tackles & 0.7 Goals from 13 games in 2019.

AFL FANTASY TAKE

The question of availability for Ronke will potentially provide a different mix for the Swans forward line in Round 2, Issac Heeney was dominant up forward against the Crows in Round 1 while Lance Franklin will likely be a Round 2 starter.

Ronke is not considered an option for season long AFL Fantasy.
