Brandon Ellis will not play for Gold Coast in Round 2, he will miss with a calf injury.
Ellis made his debut for the Suns in Round 1, he made the move to Gold Coast from Richmond in the off-season.

“Just at the end of the break with COVID Brandon hurt his calf doing a running session”
“He’s been in rehab since we’ve been back at the club and doing really well with all his strength work.”
“He’s running at the moment so we should see him available for selection in the next couple of weeks.” Suns Head Physiotherapist Lindsay Bull.
Ellis averaged 21.1 Disposals, 5.0 Marks & 2.5 Tackles from 23 games for the Tigers in 2019, he recorded 21 Disposals, 3 Marks & 2 Tackles in Round 1.

The injury to Ellis opens up another opportunity at the Suns in Round 2, David Swallow will also miss due to suspension.
Ellis isn’t considered an option in season long fantasy due to his midfield only status.
