Melbourne
Max Gawn MEL (DK $9,300, DS $18,240) has been in outstanding form averaging 114.5pts from his last 4 games, he’ll be up against Ben McEvoy on Sunday who will be doing most of the ruck work for the Hawks.
Gawn is averaging 17.8 Disposals, 5.2 Marks, 3.2 Tackles & 29.6 Hit Outs this season, all of those stats except hit outs are career season highs remembering this is also a shortened game format season. The ability for Gawn to get to contest after contest has been outstanding this season.
The price tag for Gawn is extremely high and at the point of being a prohibitive play with other options on the table for Sunday, that could result in lower ownership.
West Coast
Andrew Gaff WCÂ (DK $7,300, DS $16,760)Â returns to Optus Stadium after an extended road trip in Queensland, the last 2 weeks he has been closely checked with an opposition tag averaging just 59.0pts.
Many will shy away from Gaff for fear of another failure at a high price tag, while it is possible Fremantle will pay close attention to Gaff the Dockers have played a more structured type game plan early in the season under new coach Justin Longmuir.
Gaff will likely be under owned, for a premium scoring player that can be an opportunity to exploit.

Sam Mayes PA (DK $3,300, DS $5,000) finally returns to AFL level after crossing to Port Adelaide at the end of the 2018 season, he averaged 16.2 Disposals*, 4.0 Marks & 1.5 Tackles from 6 games in his final season at Brisbane.
In 2017 Mayes averaged 21.0 Disposals*, 6.0 Marks & 1.8 Tackles from 21 games, he’ll likely play in a defensive behind the ball type role on Sunday. Power coach Ken Hinkley stated he wanted to bring in a defender type in his presser on Friday.
Mayes is too cheap to ignore at these prices, but expect ownership to be very high.
