Injury Update: George Wardlaw

AFLRATINGS NEWS: Nth Melbourne midfielder George Wardlaw will miss the start of the 2026 AFL H&A season.

He has been sidelined with a hamstring injury following Friday’s VFL game at Casey Fields.

Wardlaw is expected to miss 3-4 weeks with a low-grade hamstring strain.

“Scans confirmed a low-grade strain similar to the previous injury in the same area,”

“He has presented really well today and will look to return to play in the next 3-4 weeks.” North Melbourne head of performance Kevin White.

North Melbourne play Port Adelaide in their season opener on Sunday March 15 at Marvel Stadium.
