GWS Giants
Ignoring the 2019 Grand Final in which Lachie Whitfield (DK $7,900, DS $15,020) scored just 50pts (post surgery) his recent record against the Tigers has been elite, he averaged 143.0pts* in his previous 3 games pre 2019 the Grand Final.
The recent form for Whitfield has been excellent, since his concussion in Round 3 he has averaged 95.3pts averaging 25.3 Disposals & 7.8 Marks over the same period.
Despite his high salary expect the ownership to be strong for Whitfield on Friday night, a ceiling game may be in play against the Tigers.
Richmond
Derek Eggmolesse-Smith (DK $5,600, DS $9,890) found plenty of ball in an ideal match-up against the Kangaroos last week scoring 98pts, the Giants will provide a tougher match-up on Friday night.
The Tigers will control the ball enough out of their defensive 50 using Eggmolesse-Smith, his ability to hit targets further up the ground should be well utilised by the Tigers.
Eggmolesse-Smith crushed value last week which will entice plenty to select him against the Giants, ownership will be extremely high even at an elevated salary.

After a solid 80pts in Round 1 Sam Jacobs (DK $5,000, DS $10,900) was quiet in his following 2 games averaging just 49.5pts, he was subsequently replaced in the team by Shane Mumford but makes his way back into the team for Friday night.
The match-up against Ivan Soldo is quite favourable for Jacobs, in expected fine conditions he should be able to not only impact at stoppages but also around the ground accumulating enough Disposals to exceed value.
Expect high ownership for Jacobs on Friday night.
