Fremantle

Michael Walters (DK $7,600, DS $15,600) has been quite consistent averaging 20.7 Disposals, 3.1 Marks, 3.1 Tackles & 1.1 Goals this season (81.0pts), in games where he has kicked 1 or more goals he has averaged 81.2pts & without any goals he has averaged 80.5pts.

Walters is playing more through the middle of the ground this season under new coach Justin Longmuir, he has been used at 62.8% of CBA’s from 7 games in 2020. The ability for Walters to move forward would likely alleviate any close attention from Geelong.

With so much value about for Monday night Walters may be under owned, he needs to be highly considered in a Fremantle win team build.

Geelong

The recent form for Patrick Dangerfield (DK $8,400, DS $16,450) has been outstanding averaging 93.3pts from his last 4 games, he recorded a season high 32 Disposals last week finishing with 110pts.

Dangerfield has been used at a high rate through the midfield this season, he has been used at 78.4% of CBA’s from 7 games in 2020. With several key midfielders missing for the Cats the high usage in the middle of the ground should continue for Dangerfield on Monday night.

Expect ownership to be strong for Dangerfield against Fremantle.

Value

Geelong coach Chris Scott has been quite bullish this season in his comments for Esava Ratugolea (DK $4,500, DS $8,860) to play as a leading ruck for the Cats, with Darcy Fort not available Monday night it opens up the opportunity for Ratugolea to assume the No.1 role.

Keep in mind Lachie Henderson has been named for Monday night, he has the ability to play as a key tall defender or forward. If Henderson moves down back then Mark Blicavs could spend time in the ruck role with Ratugolea moving forward.

There is much to consider starting Ratugolea as your starting Ruck, this should be reflected in your ownership percentage. If Ratugolea spends most of the game as No.1 ruck then he should easily exceed his salary expectations.
