Will Phillips is set for a midfield role in 2021, the Kangaroos selected him at pick 3 in the 2020 AFL Draft.
Phillips averaged 22.1 Disposals in the 2019 NAB League, he also averaged 9.1 contested possessions.
Nth Melbourne clearly invested their early draft assets on contested midfielders, Phillips is well suited to the new direction of the Kangaroos in a rebuild phase.

Phillips has an outstanding contested type game, his body size should see him adapt well at AFL level through the midfield.
It is expected that we will see Phillips in the early rounds of the 2021 H&A season, with the Kangaroos in a rebuild he should see plenty of opportunities through the midfield which should evolve into good fantasy production.

Phillips will be a very popular target in AFL Fantasy classic if he is on track to debut at Round 1 next season, his numbers should be good enough to generate a significant amount of profit given his expected low salary.
In AFL Fantasy draft Phillips is a late round draft sleeper in 10 team standard draft leagues, he should be a high priority in keeper & dynasty leagues.
