Phoenix Spicer will add speed & skill to the Nth Melbourne forward line, he was selected at pick 42 in the 2020 AFL Draft.
The lightly framed Spicer currently comes in at under 65kg, he’ll look to develop strength to his game in his first pre-season at the Kangaroos.
Spicer joins a Nth Melbourne team that added speed to their forward line during the trade period along with a young group of contested ball winners through the draft, his evasive skills and ability to maintain vision awareness will ensure a tough match-up for opposition teams when he is ready to debut at AFL level.

AFL FANTASY TAKE
Next season might be a development year for Spicer as he works on his strength, his speed & skill will be a highlight.
Despite the positive outlook for a long term prospect at the Kangaroos the initial fantasy outlook is unlikely to be great, as we know already small forwards have a low floor & provide inconsistent scoring.

Spicer is likely a pass in AFL Fantasy classic unless options are quite thin at Round 1 & he is named to play, he’s a pass in 10 team standard draft leagues.
