Matt Crouch has resumed training in the rehab group at the Crows, he underwent arthroscopic surgery on his hip in the off-season.
Adelaide Captain Rory Sloane was bullish on the progress of Crouch on return to pre-season training this week, he won’t be far away from returning to full training.
“He’s just progressing through some training, through some rehab. He should be back on track in the coming weeks.” Rory Sloane on Thursday.

Adelaide Head of Performance Matt Hass wasn’t overly concerned on Wednesday with Crouch already resuming his running program.
“Matty’s tracking as planned. He has commenced running and he is looking great from a gym point of view so it’s nice to have him back with some consistency now” Crows Head of Performance Matt Hass on Wednesday.
Crouch averaged 26.1 Disposals, 2.8 Marks & 4.6 Tackles from 16 games in 2020.

AFL FANTASY TAKE
Crouch should be good to go at Round 1 this season, he averaged 88.4pts from 16 games in 2020 scoring a season high 125pts in Round 16 against GWS.
The midfield group at the Crows will alter this season, Brad Crouch has departed while Jackson Hately comes across from GWS.
Matt Crouch is expected to be used at a high rate at centre bounces in 2020, he was used at 63.6% of CBA’S in 2020 (Adelaide Rank 1).

Crouch is certainly a consideration in AFL Fantasy classic if he returns without issue in the pre-season, his ownership should be underweight compared to other premium midfield options.
The draft rank for Crouch shouldn’t slide too much in draft leagues, he may even be overlooked beyond his expected draft rank.
