There is further clarification on the role for Jordan Clark this season, limited to just 3 games in 2020 & spending most of his early career across half-back it appears he will see an increase in midfield usage this season.
This will likely be as an outside wing type.
The speed which Clark possesses will be an asset for the Cats this year as they intend to add speed on the outside.Â

“he played back most of the time in his first year.”Â

Clark will likely spend some time on a wing this season, he will also be used to break lines from half-back.
The injury set-back to Mitch Duncan who will miss the start of the season likely solidifies Clark’s position in the team, the increase in midfield usage (as an outside wing type) is likely enhanced with Duncan missing. Issac Smith also joined the Cats in the off-season which is something to keep in mind.Â
Clark will likely be an option for many in Round 1 for those looking to spend down in defence in AFL Fantasy classic.Â
He’s worth moving quite a few spots up on your draft boards in 10 team standard draft leagues.Â
