Adelaide senior coach Matthew Nicks provided an injury update on Matt Crouch today, there is no rush for him to return.
Crouch missed the entire 2021 AFL season due to a groin concern, he underwent surgery in October.

“He’s a very important part, he’s a crucial part of our footy side in our midfield and we’d love him to be ready to go Round One.”
“But it’s a long road back and I’ll make sure that he has the messaging that there’s no rush for him to return.” Matthew Nicks said on Thursday.
Crouch averaged 26.1 Disposals, 2.8 Marks & 4.6 Tackles from 16 games in 2020 (16 Min Qtrs).

It might be time to temper expectations for Crouch over the pre-season, Adelaide will certainly take their time to make sure he’s ready to return to high impact training.
Crouch is a questionable selection at this stage for season long fantasy, his fitness status will be important to monitor.
