Stephen Coniglio has provided an update on his pre-season, limited to just 7 games in 2021 the Giants co-captain is injury free through the early weeks of training.
Coniglio made it back for the Giants 2021 finals campaign, but his injury impacted season limited his ability to provide a strong output.

Speaking on SportsdayWA this week Coniglio elaborated on his current health status.
aflratings.com.au “As things stand now I’m in a really good head space at the moment, my body is feeling as good as it has for a long time.”
“Feeling better in terms of my body & getting myself to a level where I can do the things I want to do,”
“Just looking forward to having a good go this pre-season, and when the season comes around getting back to the player that I was.”
Coniglio averaged 14.7 Disposals, 2.0 Marks & 3.9 Tackles from 7 games in 2021.

The injury impacted 2021 season for Coniglio was pretty much a write-off, he was unable to provide any type of relevant output from a fantasy perspective.

A healthy pre-season should result in an increase in scoring compared to the 2021 season, the Giants do have a stacked midfield which will likely see him split time forward or another outside role.
With Toby Greene suspended for the early part of the season, expected Coniglio, Taranto & other midfielders to spend extended periods of time forward where they can hit the scoreboard.
Coniglio is a consideration for season long fantasy at Round 1, a bounce back year is likely & at a discounted salary there is value available.
A watch on his specific role over pre-season is a must.
He’s a consideration just beyond the early rounds in single season draft leagues, many may have shelved the idea of selecting him but he has shown an ability to hit ceiling games over his career.
