2022 Fixture: Pre-Season Released

The 2022 AFL Pre-season fixture has been released, there will be only one AAMI Community Series game per team. 

Each AFL team will also play in one practice match prior to the AAMI Community Series which commences on March 3.

Hawthorn & Richmond will play on Saturday March 5 at Devonport Oval in Tasmania as a tribute to the Hillcrest Primary School.

West Coast & Fremantle will play a local Derby, while Adelaide & Port Adelaide will play a local Showdown. 

Carlton & Melbourne will start the AAMI Community Series on March 3 at Marvel Stadium.

2022 AFL Practice Match Schedule

Fantasy Impact: Plenty of juicy match-ups are available in the AAMI Community Series, the development of the Collingwood midfield including Nick Daicos could be a key along with the introduction of new draftees. 

DFS Impact: Quite a spread of games to kick-off the pre-season, likely only 9 single game slates available before the real stuff starts. 

Keep an eye on potential limited minutes for players in pre-season games, this can limit any type of ceiling game. 

This will be the last hit-out prior to Round 1, so it’s likely going to be full-strength squads pending any fitness concerns.
