2022 AFL Fantasy: Marcus Windhager
Kroeger averaged 13.4 Disposals, 3.2 Marks & 2.6 Tackles from 5 games in the NAB League in 2021.
Fantasy Impact: Flynn Kroeger will add depth to the Geelong list, he can play through a midfield role as well as across half-back.
He has excellent vision & an ability to hit targets at a high rate, he also has burst speed from congested situations.
The short term fantasy prospects for Kroeger could be moderate, Geelong senior coach Chris Scott has previously shown a tendency to be patient with young draftees.
The longer term prospects could be noteworthy, a role across half-back or through the midfield could provide a strong scoring output.
If Kroeger breaks through for his debut in 2022 then he would be a consideration for season long fantasy, it’s worth tracking his progress over pre-season for any potential opportunities early in the season.
He’s likely a pass in single season draft leagues with the potential of limited opportunities, he’s a strong early selection well ahead of expected ADP in dynasty leagues. His fantasy output over his career could be strong.
