The Giants have provided an update on the role for Craig Jennings, he joined the club recently and was originally expected to take on a role as a part time Opposition and Strategy Coach.
Giants GM of Football Jason McCartney said in a statement form the club that Jennings would move into the role of assistant coach, the role will be a full-time position.
“We were really excited to secure Craig in a part-time role this off-season and are now thrilled we can turn that into a more involved position,”

“He brings a wealth of experience to the role and will be a valuable addition to our coaching staff. ” McCartney said.
Jennings will be in charge of the backline.
The Giants resume training for their AFL program on January 10.
