Jade Gresham is tracking well this pre-season, he’s coming off an Achilles injury in 2021.
He went down early in Round 3 against Essendon, he missed the remainder of the season.
He spoke with Josh Gabelich from AFL.com.au recently, he provided an update on his 2022 role & fitness coming off an injury interrupted 2021 season.
“I definitely feel like I can play more in the middle. I’ll still play forward, but I like to think I’m now the fittest I’ve ever been and the strongest I’ve ever been,”
AFL News on Twitter @aflratings “I’d like to think I can play a
bit more mid, but also play forward as well.” Gresham said.
He averaged 28.5 Disposals, 5.5 Marks 2.5 Tackles in his first 2 games prior to his season ending injury in 2021.
Gresham is back into full training and should be ready to return for pre-season practice matches.

Fantasy Impact: Jade Gresham averaged 101.0pts prior to his season ending injury in 2021, he was used at 52.8% of team centre bounces over the same period.
Important to note that Brad Crouch was unavailable for the opening 2 games of the 2021 season, Zak Jones did not play in Round 1.
Gresham is still likely to see a decent mix of midfield and forward usage in 2022, his scoring output should be strong.

He’s a consideration for season long fantasy at Round 1 if he completes the pre-season without any issues, his position throughout pre-season games is clearly a watch.
He could be an early mid-round option in single season draft leagues.
