Wayne Milera continues to progress well through pre-season, having missed a substantial amount of footy in the last couple of years the Adelaide defender is on track to return in 2022.
His teammate Lachie Murphy provided an update on Sportsday SA this week, Murphy was extremely optimistic on the return of Milera to pre-season training.
“He’s very very exciting and happy.”
“I think to see him back out there at training just puts a smile to your face.”

Milera averaged 18.2 Disposals, 5.4 Marks & 2.9 Tackles from 17 games in 2019, he played just 2 games in 2020.

So far so good for Milera, he’s returning to full game fitness.
A position across half-back also looms for season 2022 which is noteworthy.

Milera is a consideration for season long fantasy to start the season, if he completes an uninterrupted pre-season from here it’s going to be tough to ignore his value at Round 1.
It’s worth pushing him a few places up on your draft boards in single season draft leagues.
