Lachie Jones provided clarity on his role ahead of the 2022 H&A season.
He will be lining up across half-back for Port Adelaide this season.
Jones discussed his role on SENSA this week.
AFL News on Twitter @aflratings “I don’t mind playing back line, I think I’ll start there this year.”
“That’ll be my home position for a while, but speaking to some of the coaches potentially wonder into some other positions in time to come.”
GAME DAY LIVE on Twitter @aflratings_Live “But for now I think back line / half-back is where I’ll stay for a while, just develop my game a little bit more and try and find my feet at AFL level.”
“I haven’t been lucky enough to get a midfield spot during any of those training sessions yet so I think half-back is where it will be for now.” he said.
Jones averaged 13.5 Disposals, 3.7 Marks & 1.3 Tackles from 6 games in 2021.

Fantasy Impact: Lachie Jones averaged 49.8pts from 6 games in 2021, he recorded a season high 73pts against Fremantle in Round 11.
Settling down in a half-back role this season should provide plenty of scoring opportunities from a fantasy perspective.

Jones remains an outside consideration for season long fantasy, there is scoring upside potential in a premium position on the ground.
He remains a speculative late round option in single season draft leagues.
