There is further clarity on the role for Matt Crouch this season.
Confirmation he will be playing as an inside midfielder throughout the 2022 H&A season.
Crouch recently returned to full training and is increasing his match simulation game time each week.
With pre-season games just around the corner he will continue his build into the season after missing all of last year with groin issues.
Reilly O’Brien recently gave the strongest indication where Crouch best fits into the Adelaide midfield this season and is looking forward to having him back in the team.
“Having Matty Crouch back in there will be an absolutely huge bonus around there,”
AFL News on Twitter @aflratings “He’s just so good around the ball
and at the stoppage.”
“I love being able to work with him in there.” O’Brien said.
Crouch averaged 26.1 Disposals, 2.8 Marks & 4.8 Tackles from 16 games in 2020 (*16 Min Qtrs).

Fantasy Impact: Matt Crouch averaged 88.4pts from 16 games in 2020 (*16 Min Qtrs), he did not play in the 2021 AFL season due to injury.
The news continues to be good for Crouch, there have been no setbacks as yet as he continues to build towards full match fitness.
He will likely be used through the Adelaide midfield at a high rate in 2022 pending full health, the Crows do have a deep midfield currently setup for the season.

Crouch is a consideration for season long fantasy at Round 1, his salary represents strongly as a value selection but the risk of not completing a full pre-season needs to be evaluated and understood
It’s worth sliding him up on your draft boards once again in single season draft leagues.
