AFL DFS Top Plays Blues v Tigers
CARLTON
After an injury interrupted 2021 season Patrick Cripps has completed a near flawless pre-season, he’ll obviously see a stack of work on the inside for Carlton which should include high centre bounce usage.
The focus on contested ball and stoppage structures has been high during the pre-season, this suits the game style of Cripps.
Ownership is likely to be heavy on Thursday night.
RICHMOND
Dustin Martin will likely see an increase in midfield usage this season, injury ended his 2021 campaign which resulted in significant weight loss.
Over the pre-season he’s slowly built up to a new playing weight which should compliment the increased role in the midfield with the ability to cover the ground, this should correlate into an increase in scoring output.
Ownership could be moderate to strong.

VALUE
Jake Aarts could provide value on Thursday night if there is a decent amount of midfield usage available, he was used through the midfield at times last year and throughout pre-season.Â
The ability to roster him as a forward provides salary relief and leaves open the ability to target high value midfielders.Â
Ownership could be moderate.Â
