James Aish went to Clayton Oliver at the start of the third quarter on Saturday and immediately removed the influence Oliver was having on the game.
Oliver recorded 24 disposals in the first half against the Dockers, that was reduced to 12 disposals in the second half.
Aish may be an option for Longmuir to initiate as a cooler role on Sunday against Brisbane, Caleb Serong has also previously been used in a negating type role.

“I’m sure we’ll have that discussion at match committee this week,”
“Our way has probably been to have someone that we can go to in-game and then back our mids in at the start of games.”
“I think it’s really important to have someone who’s got the flexibility in their game to be able to do that, James Aish has been that guy for us this year,”

“He’s been able to play on the wing, on-ball, he’s been playing as a half-back for us.”
“To have those type of players who you can just call upon to play any role are really important and clearly his role on Oliver on the weekend was an important one and helped us get the game on our terms in the second half.” Longmuir said.
