“We are thrilled to add Jaeger to our midfield mix. He’s 28 and brings valuable leadership and experience to our list.”
“His talent is undoubted, and he’s shown incredible adversity to bounce back and play regular football after sustaining a significant knee injury early in his career.” Fremantle Head of Player Personnel David Walls.

He averaged 20.3 disposals, 3.5 marks & 5.0 tackles.
O’Meara scored 100pts or more in 14.3% of games.
He will be used as an inside midfielder at Fremantle which should include strong centre bounce usage.

O’Meara is likely a pass in season long fantasy, there is scoring upside potential based on his 2022 output but it won’t likely be enough for consideration. But still he’s a watch over pre-season to establish what impact he’ll have on the Fremantle midfield and his likely projected scoring rate.
He’s possibly a late round option in single season draft leagues, he could be decent midfield bench cover.
