“Having only turned 24 this year, we look forward to seeing him develop his craft at Hawthorn for many more years to come.” Hawthorn National List and Recruiting Manager Mark McKenzie.

Fantasy Impact: Lloyd Meek averaged 60.7pts from 6 games in 2022 at Fremantle, he scored a season high 67pts against Adelaide in Round 1.

He averaged 11.5 disposals, 2.0 marks, 19.5 hitouts & 2.5 tackles.

Meek scored fewer than 80pts in 100.0% of games.

He will add depth to the ruck position at Hawthorn, his opportunities to compete for a No.1 ruck role will increase at his new club.

Meek is a consideration in season long fantasy based on his starting salary, of course he will need to find a direct path to the No.1 ruck at the Hawks which is no certainty. He’s a must watch over pre-season to see where he is on the depth chart.

He’s a mid-late round option in single season draft leagues, late in the pre-season there should be some type of certainty where he is at in the Hawthorn ruck plans which will heavily impact his draft position.
