Tom Green continues to progress from ACL surgery early in 2026.
Green missed all of the 2026 season and is nearing the end of his rehabilitation period, he is expected to be in full training in January at the latest.
“He’s tracking towards a return to team training,”
“He might be able to get to full training before Christmas, but realistically he’ll be fully into it in January. That’s the goal for him.”
“He’ll continue with his running, conditioning and light skills in the meantime, but we won’t have him doing full-contact training or live collisions just yet.” GWS Giants Head of Medical Services Andrew Ryan.
AFLRATINGS Fantasy Impact: Tom Green will be 13 months post ACL surgery at the start of the 2027 season, there is no indication from the Giants that he won’t be available for Round 1.
Green averaged 29.7 disposals, 3.0 marks, 3.6 tackles and 0.6 goals from 23 games in 2025 at GWS (AF Ave: 97.5).
