GWS National Recruiting Manager Adrian Caruso provided a brief update after Gruzewski was selected.
“Max is a player we watched closely this year in roles at both ends of the ground,”
“We see some real scope for him given the limited exposure to high level football, having only really come on to the radar this year.” Caruso said.
Gruzewski also recorded 5 disposals, 4 marks, 1 tackle and kicked 2 goals from 1 game in the 2022 U18 National Championships.

Fantasy Impact: Max Gruzewski will add depth as a key tall at GWS.
He is quite agile and is very strong in contested marking situations. He can provide versatility with the ability to play forward or back.
