George is powerful forward that can play through the midfield. Â
He spoke with Cal Twomey (AFL.com.au) prior to the AFL Draft.
“The main position I want to play is that mid-forward role, so spending time in the forward line but going through the midfield and showing my traits there,” George said.
George underwent surgery on his left knee late in 2022 after rupturing his ACL.

Fantasy Impact: Brayden George will add quality depth as a forward at North Melbourne. Â
His power allows him to have an impact at every contest, he is strong in marking contests and can hit the scoreboard.
The short term fantasy prospects are poor, a knee injury late in 2022 likely rules him out for most of the 2023 AFL season. Â

His long term prospects could vary, his role as a forward only could limit his fantasy scoring output but an increase in midfield usage could provide an opportunity for a decent fantasy scoring rate. Â
Season long fantasy: George is unlikely to be an option for the 2023 AFL season.
Single season draft leagues: He’s a pass in single season draft leagues.
DFS: He will be a consideration eventually when he plays at AFL level in favourable matchups especially at a low entry level salary. Â
