Fantasy Impact: Jakob Ryan will add depth to the Collingwood defence.

He has key attributes to become an intercept defender at AFL level, he has strong endurance that allows him to impact throughout each game consistently. He has the ability to accumulate disposals at a strong rate in a half-back role.

The short term fantasy prospects could be decent if given an opportunity early, Collingwood showed a willingness to play youth last season which does leave the door open for a 2023 debut if he develops well over pre-season. .

His long term prospects could be quite good, if he transitions into an intercept defender his scoring output could be very strong.

Season long fantasy: Ryan is an option when he makes his debut, keep a close watch on his pre-season for specific role and debut potential.

Single season draft leagues: He’s likely a late round speculative option in single season draft leagues.

DFS: He’ll be a strong consideration when he makes an AFL debut especially at a low entry level salary.
