He has dismissed any suggestion that he will be playing in the midfield this year (via Theo Doropoulos).
Stewart stated that his comments earlier in the pre-season were blown out of proportion.

Stewart averaged 23.0 disposals, 8.3 marks and 2.0 tackles from 22 games in 2023.
