Fantasy Impact

Carlton signed 32-year-old Nick Haynes as an unrestricted free agent which will provide extra depth for their backline.

Haynes was limited to just 8 games in 2024 with others preferred in a very strong GWS defence, a hamstring injury also meant he lost his position in the team throughout the year.

He averaged 17.1 disposals, 4.6 marks and 1.4 tackles, he scored a season-high 115pts in Round 10 against the Bulldogs.

Haynes may surprise from a fantasy perspective in 2025 if he can secure a permanent position in the Carlton team as an intercepting defender.
