AFLRATINGS NEWS: Collingwood assistant coach Hayden Skipworth has provided an update on the role for Dan Houston in 2025.Â
Collingwood returned to pre-season training on Monday with Skipworth set to take control of the summer period at the Magpies. Â

Skipworth emphasised flexibility for the squad with players being able to switch roles, he added that Houston will certainly spend some time playing through the midfield.Â
It is expected Houston will spend most of the 2025 season playing across half back, he did play through the midfield for a period of time previously at Port Adelaide.Â
Houston averaged 23.0 disposals, 5.4 marks and 3.5 tackles from 22 games in 2024 (AFL Fantasy Ave: 94.0).
He still has one more game to serve from a five-match suspension dating back to the 2024 season.Â
